Beautiful first-floor 3-bedroom apartment in Kensington, Brooklyn looking to rent one room to the right person. The room is spacious and includes large window, one narrow closet as well as a nook with five shelves for additional storage. Room will be UNFURNISHED but we are including photos WITH the prior roomie’s furniture in here as well to show that the space can accommodate your dresser, bookshelf, etc easily. Former roomie says you can take the box spring and bed frame if it sweetens the deal for you!

Roommates share one bathroom as well as kitchen/common area. We are all pretty chill and try to respect each other’s space but are also always happy to talk/hang out if you’re in the mood!

The apartment is located in Kensington, BK. We are steps away from the B8 bus which can take you directly to the B/Q trains at Newkirk Plaza, OR in the other direction to the F train at 18th Avenue. Either of these train stations are just a 10-minute walk if you don’t want to bother with the bus. Bodegas and 24-hour Dunkin Donuts right up the block; Key Food, C-Town, Ideal, and ShopRite are all within walking distance, as are several smaller Halal markets and fruit stands. Diverse neighborhood with lots of families. Great takeout options and some cute cafes and coffee shops too :)

I’m a 33-year-old queer femme (she/her) who lives with my girlfriend Kristen (she/her) in the largest room of the house; our other roommate Danee (they/them) is an awesome QPOC originally from New Orleans who lives in the room that would be next to yours if you decide to live here! They are friendly and welcoming and so is their cat. We are a 420-friendly household and all 3 of us work at progressive non-profit organizations.
