About the room
The 1600sqft condo was built in the 2000s and has modern appliances, fully furnished common living space and bedroom, and each room is “master style” with a walk-in closet and private bathroom. The condo is 3 floors with the first floor being the common living space, and the 2nd and 3rd floors are completely private rooms. The room comes with a very comfy bed, a dresser, and a nightstand. There’s a fully stocked kitchen and common living space. There’s a courtyard with chairs and a grill for residents. The whole condo complex and parking is gated requiring a security code. The unit is on Baxter ave near Highland. It is a short walk to restaurants, bars, Cherokee park, and public transit. One of the absolute best spots to live in the city.
About the roomies
I’m 31 and a 4th year PhD Student at UofL getting my degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics. My research involves vaccine development and how genetics plays a role in our immune response to disease and infection. I work standard business hours during the week and mostly keep to myself on the weekend. I’ve lived in this condo for nearly 4 years and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. I enjoy cooking, biking, board games, video games, hiking, and socializing. I’m more than happy to be your friend if that’s what you like, I’m also perfectly happy being your stable roommate that cleans up after themselves and keeps to themselves. Overall, I’m very adaptable and low maintenance. I cook for nearly every meal and I clean up immediately after. I also clean the common space pretty regularly. When I’m home, I spend the majority of my time in my room (working or relaxing) or in the kitchen. There is a TV but I don’t use it.
