Carolyn's room

Small room. Small walk-in closet, hard wood floors. Semi-furnished - twin bed and built in desk. Very quiet, very central location. Walking distance to UTA ( about 1 mile) No Dishwasher. Shared washer and dryer on site. Bathroom will be shared with another male UTA student. Kitchen is shared, but food is not (unless agreed before eaten.) Deposit is due on move-in and rent is expected on 1st of each month. Rent is also due on move-in, but will be pro-rated for the month of move-in. Currently very feminine décor, but can be changed if needed. Items on shelves, etc., will be removed before move-in.

Just me and a 27 yo male PhD candidate (and a friendly neutered male cat). Retired, now an avid baker and native plant gardener. I am a confirmed Democrat and a Roman Catholic. Less concerned with your religion than your politics. (Sorry, but I am not subject to discrimination rules.) I do not want someone to debate with and I am not looking for a best friend..

Two of my prior boarders were referred by long-time friends, so I am wanting someone reliable and honest who will follow the rules of my home. I have no desire to have a roommate who thinks Co-Vid 19 is a joke. doesn’t believe in vaccines, or thinks masks were/are a violation of their rights. I do not want anyone who believes in concealed handguns or automatic weapons. NO GUNS and no anti-vaxxers! Also - no overnight guests! Not looking for a forever arrangement. Prefer a currently enrolled UTA student (male because of shared bathroom arrangement.)
