In 2012 we decided to buy a renovate a home with the intent to create a welcoming place for those moving to Houston mainly from abroad who were either coming to study or work. I had lived abroad for several years and understood what it was like to arrive to a new place and look for an ideal place to live. We have tried to create an environment where people feel like they are a part of something. We generally look for a roommate that enjoys being around others and wants to have meaningful relationships with the others living here. We have several gatherings at our home, go on road trips together, and have our annual crawfish boil every. Awesome friendships have been created and we would like to continue for that to happen.
