Hi, I currently have a women renting this room who is separated and will be renting for an unspecified time. She supposed to give me a 60-day notice. However, feel free to check with me to see if it will become available in the near future. I am looking a responsible individual female tenant(s), best friends, college roommates, or a lesbian couple to rent the main level bedroom, which has a private bathroom. I will also consider a male-female couple for the rental. Ideally, I would like to find professionals, military, federal, state, or local government employees. I will also consider graduate students or possibly undergrads. I will only be renting out to COVID vaccinated people and those who have had the flu vaccine for the year. Everyone who currently lives here has taken their COVID vaccine and flu shot for the year.. This should go without saying, but I expect you will be responsible considering the current environment. This is a 4-bedroom house in Burke, VA. I am a 50-year old male. I own the home and live in the basement. We all have good personalities and are easy to get along with. I normally have all females who rent the 3 other bedrooms. The main level bedroom will probably be rented to a woman, but I won’t rule out a male. However, I expect everyone moving have a good personality and getting people who will take care of the house when I am out of town is important to me, particularly if things get back to normal some time next year. I want someone who will treat this house like it is their own. The upstairs is newly refurbished just the rest of the house. It has new carpet, new light fixtures, new ceiling fans, and is newly painted. There are cable connections in both upstairs bedrooms. The large upstairs bedroom comes with a new queen bed, a new ceiling fan, and a nice large dresser. The closet is decent size and has a shelf, too. You will have your own private linen closet for additional storage. There is also some storage in the basement. The basement has a laundry room with a new washer, a new dryer, a new utility sink, and new shelving units for house cleaning supplies on large shelf, which I provide. There is a smaller shelf where everyone puts their laundry items. The house is newly re-furbished and main level has new wood floors. The kitchen has new appliances including a new stove, new microwave, new coffee maker, new dish washer, new sink, new fridge, new lights, and new cabinets. The dining room has new lights, a new toaster oven, a new toaster oven stand, a vanity, a charming wood table set, and a new rug. The living room has a new sofa, new love seat, a new recliner, a new coffee table, a new entertainment stand, a TV, new lights, a new lamp, and new energy efficient curtains. The foyer has a nice closet and shelf if you wanted to put say winter jackets in it. There are new safety features in the house like new external porch light, new fire/CO2 alarms, new fire extinguishers, and fire escape ladders for the main level and upstairs bedrooms. The house is close to Ft. Belvoir, GMU campus and NVCC’s Annandale campus. This in commutable distance to the Pentagon. If you are federal employee, it is in commuting distance to locations in DC and Northern Virginia. The VRE is a block away to anyone who works in the city.
