You’ll be sharing the home with my dad, John, who is 80 and retired. He’s in great health, very independent, and mostly keeps to himself. John enjoys simple, quiet hobbies like reading, doing crossword puzzles, and watching old westerns. He’s an early riser (usually up around 6am) and tends to turn in early around 8pm. He doesn’t go out much other than grocery shopping or taking his dog, Dot, for walks. John is very laid back, easygoing, and friendly, and he genuinely gets along with just about everyone. He also enjoys a good conversation and sharing stories from time to time. John does smoke, but only outside—no smoking is allowed inside the home. Overall, he’s a respectful, quiet roommate who appreciates a peaceful home environment.
