The area is great, lots of cool places nearby. Right by the belmont train station so it’s easy to get around. It’s close to DePaul, a hospital, and grocery stores. Chipotle is like a 30 second walk, so it’s nice if you need a quick meal. (there’s also a bunch of food really close by)

The landlord is really chill, we don’t have any issues with him and he makes sure things are always working.

The space has a pretty big living room and kitchen, plus we have an extra little room which we’ve used in the past as desk space. There is also a crappy rooftop and a small backyard which we’ve used for parties or grilling in the past.

The neighbors are friendly too, but we don’t interact too much.

So there are actually 2 rooms available. One is 700, the other is 640 per month. The utilities are usually around 150$ once we split it 3 ways.

My name is Michael. I’m 27. Born in Chicago, but grew up in the suburbs mostly. I moved back to the city after I graduated from Illinois Tech in 2020. I now work full time remotely as a software consultant. I like playing chess and video games. I also like going out on the weekends to hang out with friends and enjoy the city. I would say I’m pretty friendly and easy-going and get along with everyone. I travel a decent amount too, so I’m not always home anyway.

My other 2 roomates are moving out at the end of the current lease so it’s just me right now. We have always respected each other’s space and we try our best to clean regularly. Usually we take turns cleaning the common areas: (kitchen, living room, bathroom).
