About the room

Looking for a housemate in Japantown, San Jose. Move-in date is September 1, 2026. The available room is the master bedroom with a walk-in closet, two sinks, stand-up shower, bathtub, and private toilet. We also have an in-unit washer and dryer. Water and trash is included in rent, you only have to split wifi and PG&E with us.

You would be sharing the space with two 28-y.o. females in a 3-bed, 3-bath condo. Ideal housemate would keep up with cleanliness in the common areas, and your houseplants are welcome in the living room or on the balcony. :)) 🌿 Extra furniture is welcome too, as a majority of it will be moving out with our roommate. Lmk whatchu got (couches, lighting, and air fryers encouraged hehe)

Big park across the street, and plenty of street parking available. Located in a quiet part of town, walkable to Japantown with a farmer’s market on Sundays, and Gordon Biersch night markets on Thursdays. Less than 10 minutes away from San Jose Airport and Paypal stadium.

Rent: -Single: $1650 -Couple: $1800

Must be able to pay first month rent (September) and last month’s rent upon move-in.

About the roomies

Our names are Megan and Fiona, and we’ve known each other since second grade. Fiona works full time M-F, 8-4:30 at a cosmetic company. Megan will be starting school and an internship in August, in addition to her job at a hospital. In other words, we are both out of the house for majority of the weekdays. We like to come home to a clean and chill environment. We aren’t big partiers, but we do enjoy socializing in the common areas from time to time.

We do share communal items such as dish soap and dishwasher pods. Additionally, we are open to discussing what will work best for us collectively when living together.
