About the room

Hello!

FULLY FURNISHED. MOVE IN IMMEDIATELY. JUST GIVE ME 48 HOURS NOTICE. PERFECT FOR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS.

I am looking for someone to take over my private room, fully furnished in a spacious Somerville apt available for immediate move-in, just give me 48 hours notice. The room was $1500 per month but you can have the remainder of July for free if you rent. The arrangement goes through the end of August, making it perfect for a summer sublet, but there is potential to renew for a long-term lease if it’s a good fit!

The Room:

Space: Large, bright private room with excellent natural light from two large windows.
Condition: Kept in very clean condition (hardwood floors regularly vacuumed and mopped).
Perks: Room has a strong ceiling fan as well as strong radiator for colder months. Comes furnished with a queen bed, nice wide desk, chair, a shoe rack, clothing rack, two mirrors, two dressers, cube storage shelf, a stylish area rug, (can be removed if you want, slightly stained but still clean).
Storage: Generous closet space. Enough for a clothing rack and room for extra storage behind it.

The House & Location:

Near Somerville Highschool, great vibrant location especially for the summer!
Near Somerville Public Library
Near Sommerville Community Path (amazing for walks, running, and biking)
Private room on the second floor of a multi family home. It is essentially a 3BR/1BA. First floor is a completely separate unit and third floor is also separate (only share the kitchen on the second floor)
You’ll be sharing the shared spaces with working peers in their mid-20’s. Ideal for any young professional or student.
Very accessible to public transit, great coffee shops, and restaurants.
5 min walk to Gilman square (Green line can take you directly into Boston)
10 min walk to Union square (Pop up vintage and flea markets throughout the year. Bloc Cafe!! Other great eats)
Full access to shared eat-in kitchen and a nice balcony!
Washer/dryer in the basement
Easy to find street parking. Driveway parking spot available for monthly fee (negotiable with property manager)

Note: Living in Somerville itself is a perk. Tons of events both in Somerville and in its vicinity, year-round, for all kinds of interests and for everyone to enjoy! I personally attended a local race for my first-ever running race while living here.

Rent & Logistics: Rent: $1500/month + utilities (negotiable with property manager, can play flat monthly fee of $100 for all included). Move-in Date: 48 hours notice, available until August 31. Available for renewal after as well. Security Deposit: $1500 (One month’s rent, refundable at move-out assuming no damage).
