Charming Prospect Park Apartment Private Room Available! Looking for a roommate to share a cozy, character filled 2 bed/1 bath apartment. The apartment has a lot of personality and is mostly furnished and decorated with Victorian/Gothic details mixed with lots of plants!

The Room & Apt: •The room is decently bright with two windows and a full closet. •The bathroom separates our two bedrooms, so there’s great built-in privacy. •Top floor apartment (second level) •Huge kitchen, separate dining room, and a big living room. •Lots of windows •Pretty old dark wood •Good privacy all around •Friendly neighbors •Old building charm (4 unit building) with a shared backyard, paid basement laundry, and tons of extra storage space. •Street parking around here is actually pretty decent.

Location: Prospect Park! Super central, peaceful, and perfect if you like going for walks or bike rides.

I’m pretty easygoing, chill, and tend to do my own thing in my room a lot, so I’m big on giving everyone their space and privacy! I work as a nanny, which means I spend a lot of my time taking care of others, so coming home to a clean, calm, and visually pleasing environment is essential for me to refresh and recharge. I also have a lovely cat named Wirt! He is super sweet and loves being around people, though he can occasionally get overstimulated and just need a little space. He doesn’t do well with other cats, so no other cats allowed unfortunately. If you love having a sweet, friendly cat around, you’ll love him!

At my core, I’m a creative through and through. Music and art are everything to me. I play and listen to music, make art, and tattoo. I also grew up on a farm and really love to cook, hike, read, and grow plants. My partner hangs around sometimes, but this is a low key, peaceful home, not a party house. Smaller, chill hangouts are always cool though! I’m also 420 friendly and definitely looking for someone who is too. :)

Living Together & House Vibe: Because of what I do for work, self initiative with cleaning is a huge deal for me. I’m looking for a roommate who naturally notices what needs to be done and takes care of it without needing to be asked, reminded, or managed. That said, I’m super flexible and happy to work out a system or flow that works well for both of us! Ideally we just organically share responsibility for the apartment (examples): •Basic respect for common areas: Clean up after cooking, put things back where they belong, and keep shared spaces feeling cozy and clean for both of us. •Proactive teamwork: Naturally taking initiative on things like running out the trash, restocking toilet paper/supplies, and doing a periodic fridge clear out.
