Anne is looking for someone calm, patient, dependable, and a good listener who values a peaceful, stable home. She is usually at home, so the arrangement will work best for someone comfortable with a quieter household and respectful of privacy and personal boundaries.

For the right person, there may be an opportunity to discuss reduced rent in exchange for a small, clearly defined amount of household help. This would be entirely optional and discussed separately after determining mutual fit.

She lives with major depression, severe anxiety, and agoraphobia. Because of this, she currently spends most of her time at home and rarely goes out independently. She has an established care team and outside support.

A housemate would not be expected to provide medical care, manage medications, act as a therapist, supervise Anne, or take responsibility for her emotional well-being. The best fit would simply be someone understanding, emotionally steady, respectful of boundaries, and comfortable living with someone who is usually home.

Anne also lives with Ada, a very sweet and affectionate dog. Ada can be a little protective when first meeting someone, so patience and comfort around dogs are important. Once she feels safe, she is loving and enjoys having familiar people around.

The home is peaceful and low-key rather than social or party-oriented.
