Howdy :) I currently live in a 4-bedroom rented home about 5 minutes from UCF on University Blvd. One of the current roommates is moving out at right now, and we’re hoping to find someone to replace him on short notice, ideally by the start of August
Rent is $817 per month plus utilities (usually about $160 per month of total utilities which includes all the essentials plus lawn care). The bedroom that is available is the downstairs master bedroom with its own personal bathroom.
I’m Ethan - I like cooking and board games and nature and decorating and my cat!
Garrett - He is perpetually working on his car and loves video games and board games and drinking lots of milk!
Nick - He loves making kratom and engineering fun things and discussing niche topics.
The things we look for in a roommate in order of importance:
1: Be able to pay rent/utilities, and be responsible about doing so. Since we split the full rent of the house when signing on to the lease, we have to be able to depend on each other.
2: Be a good person :) We haven’t really had a serious issue with a roommate in a long time. We’re all chill, we like to play board games together, we like to host little events at the house, we like to be friendly and have a nice vibe at the house so it feels like a home. If you’re nice I will cook for you sometimes lol. If you are the type of person who seeks out chaos or conflict, you should definitely look elsewhere.
3: Appreciate art and decoration! We have a TON of decorations that appeal to the more creative maximalist types.
