Lived here for the past two years after graduating and absolutely loved it! I’m only moving now to be closer to work.

The room comes with its own private bathroom and private patio, which is unbeatable in DC for the price. It’s a 4-bedroom rowhouse that comes with a fully furnished common area, including a couch, TV, dining table, and storage shelving. The kitchen is well-stocked, with a large backyard that’s great for relaxing or hosting friends.

Metro: Green-Yellow line is closest. We are 10 minutes walking from both the Columbia Heights and Georgia Ave-Petworth Metro stations. There are lots of bodegas/corner stores near us. The closest grocery store is less than a block away, Panam, but bigger chains like Target, Lidl, and Giant are all clustered by the Columbia Heights station. There is also a gym in that same mall, the New York Sports Club.

Bus: We are also a 2-minute walk away from the D5X, which goes up and down 14th St, and the the D6X, which goes up and down 16th St. On the D5X you can access the U St. Neighborhood, great for late nights and Trader Joe’s. On the D6X you can access Meridian Hill park or Silver Spring, MD.
