About the room
This isn’t just a room — it’s a private bedroom and private bathroom in a quiet, well-kept home, plus three built-in reasons to smile every day: Paco, Ubbe, and Jibblet, my Chihuahuas. If you’re the kind of person who can’t have a dog right now but really wishes you could, this is basically the loophole. The room: Your own bedroom with great natural light, and a full bathroom that’s entirely yours — no sharing. Quiet, cozy, and set up so you actually get to decompress at the end of the day. The home: Full kitchen access, in-unit washer/dryer, fast Wi-Fi, and a cute patio that’s perfect for morning coffee. Safe, easy parking right on the street. It’s a calm household — no chaos, no revolving door of guests, just a peaceful place to actually live. The area: McKinney was just ranked #17 in the country in U.S. News’s 2026 Best Places to Live list, and it’s known for low crime, strong schools, and that walkable, small-town-charm downtown with local shops, restaurants, and art galleries. There are also 50+ miles of trails and green space nearby (Towne Lake is a favorite) if you like getting outside. It’s the kind of area where things feel settled and safe, not stretched thin. If you’re clean, respectful, and the type who lights up when a tiny dog greets you at the door — you’d fit right in here.
About the roomies
Hi, I’m Anum! I work a corporate job during the week, so the house is generally calm and quiet on weekdays. My partner and I are a same-sex couple, and she visits regularly — usually weekends, and some weekdays too — so you’ll likely see her around fairly often. And of course, there are the real stars of the house: my three dogs, Paco, Ubbe, and Jibblet, who I like to call my babies. They’re a big part of daily life here, so being genuinely comfortable around them matters a lot to me.
