Private, unfurnished bedroom of approximately 110 square feet in a three-bedroom, two-bath home in the Summit Ridge area of Walnut Creek, CA 94597. The room has hardwood flooring, a large window with blinds, and mirrored sliding closet doors. The existing rug and floor lamp are negotiable. The detached bathroom is across the hall and may occasionally be shared with household guests. Shared amenities include the kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a large yard, and ample street parking. Walnut Creek BART and downtown are about six minutes away. Rent is $1,195 per month with utilities included, and the security deposit is $1,195. Available immediately with a flexible start date. The initial commitment is three months, then month-to-month. Work from home is permitted with reasonable expectations for normal household noise. No additional pets by default; accommodation and assistance-animal requests are handled as required by law.

You would share the household with Tom and Atticus, a roughly 145-pound Great Dane. This is a relaxed, candid, privacy-minded, communicative home where music is part of the normal atmosphere. Applicants must be genuinely comfortable living with a dog this large. Lifestyle leaning vibe - overnight guests are normally welcome up to two nights per week; different arrangements call for mutual agreement. Please reply with a short introduction, desired move-in date, expected stay, occupation or primary income source, typical weekly schedule, work-from-home status, intended occupants, and confirmation that Atticus’s size is comfortable for you. Written criteria are applied consistently to completed applications: one-person occupancy; documented gross monthly income of at least 2.5 times rent [flexible] or other lawful ability-to-pay evidence; identity verification; rental references or a reasonable explanation for no rental history; no material misrepresentations [strictly enforced]; written acceptance of payment, guest, cleaning, and comfort with Atticus.
