About the room
Looking for 2 roommates for a downtown 3b1b house.
The well-maintained apartment has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. The two rooms offered are the larger one and one of the two medium ones. The larger room also has ample closet space.
Rent for the two rooms is $740 and $660 per month.
Lease starts on August 15, 2026, and runs for 1 year.
The living room has a window AC, a sofa, a barcalounger, and a TV with an Amazon Fire Stick, and you can AirPlay to it as well. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher, and other items. The apartment also has central heating, plus a washing machine and a dryer.
At the heart of downtown Madison, the unit has easy access to the UW Madison campus via convenient bus routes, most readily from Routes C, A, and B. It is a 7-minute walk from the Capitol, a 10-minute walk from State Street, and a 20-minute walk from the Nicholas Recreation Center.
I will continue to occupy one of the two medium rooms, the one in the center adjacent to the living room. My current roommates are moving out of Madison, so the rooms are available for the next lease term. The total effective rent for the 3b1b unit is $2059, including fixed water charges and excluding electricity and gas bills, which are billed separately.
All in all, the apartment is ready to move into. The kitchen and living room are fully furnished, as shown in the photos, and the rooms you would be moving into require furniture. The photos of the medium room show it is still occupied by a friend who will be moving out. The larger room is empty right now and can be moved in as soon as possible.
Do reach out for more details or to schedule a viewing. I live at 212 S Henry itself right now, and I’m readily available to talk and show you the house whenever you’d like to visit.
Best, Dheeraj Dhillon
About the roomies
I am a Master’s student in the CS department, and I will be going into my second year this fall. I listen to too much music, from various artists in various languages in various genres. My endeared shows would be Better Call Saul, Seinfeld, and The Wire . I go for runs by the lake every so often.
