About the room
Welcome home! This beautifully updated, fully flipped house sits right at the border of Richardson and Garland, near Shiloh and Beltline — putting you minutes from great restaurants, shopping, and easy access to Highway 75. Step inside to find brand-new appliances throughout and a fresh, modern feel. And yes — there’s a pool! Nothing beats coming home to your own private oasis to unwind. The room: A spacious one-bedroom with a closet and en-suite bathroom, located on the opposite side of the home from the primary suite — giving everyone their own private space. The bathroom is a Jack-and-Jill style with dual vanities, so you’ll have your own sink, and it connects to a second bedroom that’s reserved as an occasional guest room (used only rarely when family visits) — so you won’t be sharing it with another roommate. The room comes unfurnished, but we’re happy to furnish it with a queen bed and nightstands if that’s helpful for you. Parking: One dedicated space behind an electric gate, in a garage — safe and convenient. What’s included: All bills paid! You’re only responsible for your own groceries. House rules: No pets, no smoking inside, no random hook-ups coming in and out of our home - please “travel.” This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for privacy, comfort, and a beautifully updated space to call home. About the roomies
Hi there! We’re a gay couple looking to welcome a new roommate into our home. A little about us: one of us is a CEO and professional Realtor® who works from home at all hours, and the other manages a retail store with a schedule that shifts, including some overnights. We also share our lives with two very spoiled male dogs who are basically our kids — because of them, we’re not able to welcome other pets into the home, but we promise they’ll win you over. We’re homebodies at heart. Think game nights, movie marathons, and a standing Friday tradition of RuPaul’s Drag Race with our bestie — you’re always welcome to pull up a seat! Some nights we’re up late with the TV on, but for the most part we keep to ourselves and won’t be in your way. We care about keeping our home clean, respectful, and drama-free. We split costs and chores on shared household items (trash bags, dish soap, etc.), while keeping our own food and laundry detergent separate. One easy house rule: no bleach in the washer, please! We’re cannabis-friendly (smoking outside only), and we’re a private household — we don’t host hookups or have strangers coming and going. If you’re in a relationship, your partner is welcome to stay over up to two nights a week. We’ve been burned before by roommates who brought people into our space without care, so trust and respect for the home go a long way with us. We’d love to find a fellow gay male roommate who values a peaceful, friendly, low-drama home — and who won’t mind two dogs occasionally demanding attention. If this sounds like your kind of home, we’d love to hear from you!
