Prioritizing individuals with AuDHD (Autism + ADHD) and LGBTQIA+ (employed or on disability income) We want to build a supportive, safe, and collaborative space where everyone can fully unmask and be themselves. This is an ideal setup for a college student, a non-driver (someone with mobility or disabilities), or a public transit-focused individual.
No off-street parking spots are available
ask me about public transit options! we got quite a few on the block and within 1.5miles at the burbank train station.
About the roomies
We are easygoing, conflict-averse, and avoid trouble. Jon 30 works full time as a biotech manufacturing lead Dev 24 is on disability income
We want to lay it all out there upfront so we donβt waste your time or ours! We are autistic, reserved, awkward furries and fandom dorks. We love watching YTPs, abridged series, Minecraft/Mario Maker/pokemon/undertale videos, Reddit memes, and livestreams. You could say we are grown-up iPad kids who love cartoons and silly online videos! And our behavior / humor reflects that. But we are almost always in our own world on the internet.
One of us is a hobbyist artist/animator, likes to cook and wont hesitate to offer extras, like to ride his motorcycle and is a part time activist.
We verbally stim out loud (quoting cartoons/movies or using silly voices). One of us likes to sing karaoke in their room (not often), and we pace the floor when we talk to each other. We info-dump when we feel safe and talk about politics (we are both lefties/progressives).
One of us is a higher-support-needs autistic individual, and the other takes responsibility as caretaker to ensure they do their share of the chores. One of us stays in his room with headphones on for music and online calls with friends. The other uses the TV in their own bedroom for YouTube or music when folding laundry. If you are a neurodivergent person who needs a very quiet environment, we are totally open to working out a compromise! We are not SUPER organized, but we are definitely NOT dirty. We keep our personal clutter inside our own spaces. Daily chores are strictly maintained around the house to keep common areas fresh.
if this sounds like a vibe or situation for you please let give me a dm and or text!
