Hey there! I’m Shawna! I am an Austin native and live in Crestview and need a roommate!

I live at the Argosy right off N. Lamar and Airport. I moved here specifically for the location and the trees. It’s an older and smaller complex but in the best neighborhood! This will be my third year living here this July!

About me:

I’m from Austin and grew up off 45th street and went to McCallum HS. I’m big into music, plants and cycling. Important to know I have my two cats; Levi and Ryu. They are are really chill and love people but unfortunately will not be able to accommodate an additional cat. The apartment complex is extremely dog friendly, so a dog addition is possible.

-Second floor with carpet - one flight of stairs and direct access to pool -Private room and bathroom -Private access to balcony from room -Fire place -Newly installed fan in room -In house washer and dryer -Cool balcony with lots of succulents and plants overlooking the pool from a perfect distance -Pool is really nice and not overcrowded even in the summer

Neighborhood Details:

-Dia’s bodega across the street -Crestview transit is walking distance -Fresh Plus, Little Deli and an extensive Asian shopping center walking distance -Koening HEB 1mi away -Close to Burnet with lots of local restaurants -Great neighborhood for biking

General Details:

-LGBTQIA+ absolutely inclusive! -Prefer someone that understands their foot print and involved in daily house up keep and contribution -Clean outdoor smoker Okay -Wall art encouraged (maybe help me hang art up too!) -My couch is a bit dated so furniture is encouraged. I use the “dining room” as my record room but willing to discuss logistics with furniture

Rent and application details: The complex does require an application and to be on the lease. The lease does not have to be a full year but does require being on the lease.

-Rent is $1600 which includes mandatory washer/dryer rental fee and water -Electricity usually runs about $120 -Spectrum $40

About the roomies

I really love this complex and neighborhood. It’s a very quiet neighborhood and complex. I love the trees and love my balcony! I really love access to public transit and easy and pretty neighborhood to walk and bike around.
