Hi there! I was in a domestic violence situation, but then he abandoned his side of the lease and left me with all of the bills….. I just moved to Maine a little over two weeks ago from posting this. I’m waiting to hear back from my new job on when I start. And because of the delay in my own finances, there’s just no way I could afford this place on my own. It’s $1200 a month but you would only pay half of course. I have no idea what the utilities look like. I know there’s internet already here I just have to figure out who and get it in my name I guess, same with electric and gas I believe, but will need to triple check…. It is a third floor apartment. I do have a flour ac and fans going so it’s not terrible up here. He left a window ac that’s brand new which could be put into your window to help you stay cool. Um they do accept pets but they need to know first and there’s a deposit. I’ll send you my copy of the lease if you’re interested.

I will also in the meantime, work on cleaning up the apartment more, a lot of of the mess that is seen in the pictures was left by my ex and his ex-girlfriend before me… I was leaving that mess so that the landlords knew that it wasn’t me but we’re past that now so I will clean up the apartment for someone else to join me.

Well, my name is Maddy Swan. I’m 28 years old and I moved from Pennsylvania to be with this guy that I have been talking to for months and within the first week of me moving here things got really crazy and eventually he just left the apartment to me even though I was trying to get out and away from him, but you know what it is what it is now. I’m in the third apartment all the way upstairs the second apartment below me has a middle-aged, maybe 40s year-old woman living there by herself. Her name is Bethany. She’s one of the managers for the Sam’s Italian food chain around here. She’s lovely. Then down in the first apartment is on older woman 50 to 60 or something. Her name is Liz. She’s also by herself down there, but she is very sweet and very kind and they both keep to themselves, but are very friendly and pleasant to interact with. Other than that, the other neighbors around it’s up to your discretion whether you interacted them or not the lady with the blue Ford right next to us sometimes likes to strike up a conversation but again up to you to you can tell her to go away or you can talk to her. She’s not a bad person. There’s a lot of stray cats in the area too. Apparently there have been some car break-ins on our street. The only person I know of it happening to is someone who also leaves their car windows down frequently so just lock your car and keep your windows up.
