I’m looking for a roommate to share a peaceful, furnished townhouse in the Puget neighborhood, close to Fred Meyer, Whole Foods, and local bus routes. The available space is on the first floor and includes a private bedroom, a private bathroom, and a closet inside the room. The second floor includes the shared kitchen, living room, dining area, and porch. The third floor is where my 22-year-old daughter and I live. The bedroom is currently furnished with a twin bed, nightstand, chest of drawers, and either a chair or a desk. If you prefer the room unfurnished, I’m happy to clear it out before move-in.

I’m a 55-year-old professional, and my daughter is 22 and recently graduated from Western Washington University. We both work locally outside of the home. We are quiet, respectful, and value our home as a calm, clean, safe place to land at the end of the day. We also share the home with a sweet 5-year-old ESA cat, so someone who enjoys or is comfortable with cats would be a good fit. I enjoy arts and crafts, hiking, biking, yoga, reading, cooking, spending time with friends, a good movie night, and the occasional board game. Our home is friendly and peaceful, but not a party house. I’m looking for a roommate who is emotionally intelligent, communicative, respectful of shared spaces, and committed to helping keep common areas clean. A good fit would be someone who values kindness, direct communication, personal responsibility, and a peaceful home environment. This home is best suited for someone who wants a grounded, respectful, sanctuary-like space rather than just a room to rent.
