And the area has real character: unhurried streets, approachable neighbours, the kind of residential calm that makes you wonder why you ever lived somewhere noisier.

Living well together doesn’t require much just the right people and a shared sense of how a home should feel. A microbiologist and an air traffic controller, we each have our own room and a lifestyle that’s calm by nature rather than by effort. The house stays clean, conversations stay pleasant, and nobody’s making the other person’s life harder than it needs to be. That’s genuinely all we’re after in a housemate someone who just naturally fits that mould.
