Open private room in a 3 bd / 2 ba house near downtown Monterey! The bathroom is shared, but kept super clean. The house has in-unit Washer and Dryer. It’s fully furnished. The room itself has a pull-out memory foam Twin bed, desk, and dresser. If needed, these can be removed from the room. Or they are available as part of the rent. $1,100 base rent + utilities (around $150-250 pp, so total monthly rent is around $1,300). Street parking, but there is always spots. Walking distance to DLI, Trader Joe’s, Fisherman’s Wharf, and Alvarado Street. NO parties or unexpected guests without prior communication. Sober/Dry home.

Megan (32 F), works from home, and John (36 M), works at a school with kids. We both are digging roots into Monterey and want to make this place our home. We have been roommates for a year and have established a warm and welcoming environment. We want this place to be everyone’s safe space, so the house is kept clean, we are respectful of boundaries, love open communication, and balance space with time together. Outside the home, Megan does improv, writes, cooks, and hikes. John is always up for any adventure, and he enjoys making new friends, exploring new places, and trying new foods.
