Hi everyone! I’m looking for someone to take over my lease for a beautiful studio apartment in the heart of Lakeview, available August 1, 2026.

I signed this lease because I was planning to stay in Chicago, but my plans have recently changed and I’ll be moving out of the city before I ever get the chance to move in. After touring the apartment, I truly thought it was the perfect studio—the layout is bright and functional, the finishes are modern, and having an in-unit washer and dryer is a huge bonus. It’s located on a quiet residential street while still being just a short walk to both the Diversey and Wellington CTA train stations, along with countless restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and everything Lakeview has to offer.

This is a lease takeover through the leasing office, so you’ll have the opportunity to take over the remainder of the full lease term.

📅 Lease Term: August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027

💲 Monthly Rent: $1,895

💡 Monthly Service Fee: $90 (includes gas, internet, sewer, trash, and general maintenance)

About the roomies

I’m looking for someone to take over my lease because my plans have changed before my move-in date, so the apartment has never been occupied. It’s a private studio, so there are no roommates or shared living spaces. The building is located on a quiet residential street in Lakeview, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still being just a short walk from public transit, restaurants, and everything the neighborhood has to offer.
