Rent a Bedroom in a furnished 3BR 2BA on a unique 1-acre forest property in the desirable Upper Rainier Beach neighborhood in Seattle. Available August 1st. Rent is $975 per month (and per person), Utilities and internet is extra and is usually around $150 per month.
Do you like the idea of arriving home from work to a quiet, serene forest with the sound of a creek and some birds, yet still be in Seattle 15 minutes from downtown? Or work from home with regular daily nature breaks?
This space is on the upper level of our Mid-Century Modern house . The bedroom is 11ft by 12ft and can fit a King-sized bed. There is a large window for plenty of natural light. Large closet in the bedroom. Shared bathroom with one other tenant, private bedroom. Shared kitchen. Shared laundry. Storage rack and space for a bicycle in the garage. There is plenty of parking always available on the property or on the street. There are two other tenants who share the common living spaces upstairs (kitchen and living room).
The Rainier Beach Lightrail station is approximately a 15-minute walk from the house, as well as several bus lines available within a block of the house.
Our private, 1-acre forest has a creek that runs through it. There is nothing like sitting on the porch eating breakfast, listening to the water and the birds, and watching the squirrels play as the sun shines through the trees. We have a small garden going, too. We have geese, chickens, and ducks that are very entertaining. There is a larger forest with a larger river and great trails that is only about 7 blocks from the house which is perfect for running or hiking. We are also only a few blocks away from the amazing Kubota Garden.
Rent is $975 per month. Additional utilities average $150 per month. Available August 1st.

The overall household culture is one of mutual respect and orients around healthy-living adults who keep quiet hours at night and working hours during the day.
