My brother and I have a room available for rent in the house we are renting. Our previous roommate is moving out of our house and in with his friends for his final year of college. The room is 16’ 3“ x 10’ 10“ (176 sq ft) with an additional closet measuring 6’ 6“ x 2’ 2“. The room is currently a yellow color however; I am more than happy to paint it if you’d like!

The house comes furnished however, the room does not. We have a fully featured “home cinema” with an 85“ QLED tv complete with Dolby Atmos Surround. We also have a local Plex library with 600+ films and 1000’s of episodes of tv shows all available to watch along with other streaming services. We have fast symmetrical gigabit fiber internet with wifi 6E and wifi 7 access points. There is also 2.5GbE wired networking to the room as well. We have a backyard that is not fully fenced but, we have fenced off a section of the yard so that our miniature Australian Shepherd can go outside.

We’re in a nice quiet neighborhood in Redmond. The lot the house is on is a bit dark because of all the tree cover and sadly, the available room only has a window facing the backyard which doesn’t see much natural light. There is plenty of street parking available but if a garage is a necessity for you, I’m sure we can work something out to get you a space in the 2 car garage. For bathrooms - you would be sharing a bathroom with my brother (who is rather tidy). The bathroom is long and narrow with a tub/shower combo and you would get your own sink. There is also a half bath downstairs, so I don’t expect bathroom availability to be an issue.

Our lease currently expires at the end of May 2027 and we are looking for someone to sign on for the remainder of the current lease. Please reach out if you are interested and/or have any questions!

As eluded to earlier, you would be a lease substitution for the existing tenant and living in the house with my brother (21) and I (24). Our current landlord is really nice and has been great to work with the year and a half we’ve been living here. My brother is a full-time student and I work full-time in Healthcare IT. We’re pretty quiet and keep to ourselves for the most part. We do get a little loud when we game from time to time and we do like our movies fairly loud, but we haven’t had complaints in the past and are more than happy to work with you if there are any issues.
