The room is downstairs in a two story, 4 bedroom home and shares a full bath with two other bedrooms, currently occupied. There is a separate front entrance through the laundry room which also holds a small refrigerator for shared use. Car or some form of transport required as the bus only comes infrequently. Quiet, safe neighborhood, street parking about 3 minutes drive to nearest grocery, 5 minutes to the beach, 10 mins to Nisene Marks State Park (redwoods, hiking or biking trails), 10 mins drive to Cabrillo, 25 mins to UCSC. Kitchen and living room, dining room and deck upstairs are shared use. Laundry shared by all. House rules: Clean up after yourself and respect each ones privacy while supporting easy and fun group house setting. We have no smoking and no drugs in the house policies, some alcohol okay but some of us are sober - but tolerant - so quiet parties with chill folks are great.

About the roomies

Two other bedrooms downstairs are currently occupied by professional males in their mid 20s, one of which is our son. My husband and I are an older, married couple and we live upstairs in our own suite with our friendly dog, Lulu. Food is separate but we love to cook and BBQ, etc. We.love to read and listen to oldies rock music and NPR. Our business is landscaping and my husband specializes in gray water and rainwater catchment systems. I am also a writer. We look forward to meeting all prospective candidates.
