This room is part of a modern two bedroom apartment inside a very modern three floor apartment complex. The first floor of the complex is all retail stores, including a pizzeria, a physical therapy center, a workout facility, three food places, and two salons. The apartment complex is only about three or four years old, so it is all very new construction and there is a small but very modern gym in the lobby of the building along with a common area that is split between a coworker space and a lounge.

The room itself is 11’ x 14’ and is located near the entrance to the two bedroom apartment. Between the entrance and the bedroom, there is a full bathroom that is the private bath for this second bedroom. The bathroom has a shower/bathtub. The entire apartment is modern laminate flooring, as well as brand new countertops and fixtures throughout the apartment. There is central air and central heating, a huge island in the kitchen, the sink with a disposal, and a large living room kitchen area with eight windows that are near the floor to ceiling. This unit is a corner unit and gets wonderful light throughout the day and finishes each day with views of the gorgeous sunsets.

There’s plenty of parking at the complex, including assigned spot in back for $50 a month and there’s also an option to get an indoor spot in the garage which I believe is 100 or $150 per month. There is an annual maintenance fee, which is $150 per person for lease term.

As far as the rest of the apartment goes, it is fully furnished outside of the bedroom for rent. I have pretty much every appliance you could need in the kitchen, I have a 65 inch flatscreen HD television that is less than a year old, the apartment is wired for Verizon internet, there is a kitchen table with chairs, a sectional couch, a brand new area rug for the living room, as well as plenty of lighting.

I am a 53-year-old professional male who works from home, but I work out of my bedroom so my work doesn’t interfere with my housemate or their ability to enjoy the common areas. I am very outgoing and social and would definitely consider myself an extrovert, but I don’t entertain people in my home very often so it’s a pretty chill quiet atmosphere. The consider myself to be very clean, particularly in the common area. We have a dishwasher which I use every day. I don’t leave dirty dishes in the sink. They clean up the counter after I cook, which is most days and I take out the trash almost every night. I have a cleaning service which comes every two or three weeks to keep the apartment, clean and tidy.

I’m definitely into sports and watching them, I tend to watch a lot of movies or streaming content, but I try to be balanced about how much time I spend in the living room so that my roommate can enjoy that as well. Often times, I’ll just watch my iPad in my bedroom so that my roommate can use the living space by themselves I believe in having healthy respect for whoever you live with and finding a nice balance.
