About the roomies
I’m Looking for a Great Roommate! Hi! I’m Anthony, and I’m looking for someone awesome to share my home. A little about me—I spent many years as a professional dancer and choreographer, and these days I work as a Jobs Coach helping neurodivergent adults find meaningful employment. I’m also in the middle of relaunching a cabaret production that’s been a longtime passion project, so if you’re creative, you’ll probably appreciate the occasional burst of excitement around here. My sidekick is Ratatouille James, my tiny Chihuahua. I rescued him from a former roommate about 10 years ago, and he’s been running the place ever since. He’s small, sweet, and full of personality. I’ve lived in this apartment near Adams & Crenshaw for the last 10 years, and it’s truly become home. It’s got character… let’s call it “vintage Los Angeles.” (Translation: it could definitely use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s cozy, comfortable, and has great energy.) I’m pretty easygoing, clean, organized, respectful, honest, and I appreciate open communication. I don’t smoke, don’t use drugs, and live a fairly quiet lifestyle. I’m looking for someone who’s similarly considerate, pays rent on time, cleans up after themselves, and wants a peaceful, comfortable place to come home to. One thing I think says a lot is that most of my roommates have stayed anywhere from two to four years. My current roommate is moving on to a new chapter, so now it’s time to find someone who’s a good fit. The rent is $1,500 per month plus a security deposit, and I cover all the utilities, which keeps things simple. If you’re looking for a home with good vibes, mutual respect, and a roommate who values kindness, laughter, and a little creativity, I’d love to hear from you. Hopefully, we’ll both know when it’s the right fit! —Anthony
