I’m looking for a roommate to COSIGN A NEW LEASE with me in a spacious 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment with lots of natural light. The common areas will be totally furnished as we will buy all furniture from the previous renters

You will share the apartment only with me. I’m a 31 years old french teacher, moving to New York in August, coming from French Guiana. I will work full-time at a bilingual school in Manhattan, and will be out of the apartment all working days, from Monday to Friday.

On my free time I enjoy going to movies, to concerts, to museums. I also love reading, writing, visiting the city, walking in the parks and playing board games and chess.

I’m someone who likes to take care of my living space and turn it into a warm, cozy home. I’m discreet, calm, tidy, and respectful of others’ privacy and routines. At the same time, I’d be happy to socialize with my future roommates, share a meal, or spend time together when everyone feels like it.
