About the room
Hey everyone! I’ve got a bedroom available in a house in South Austin, around S 1st and Stassney. It is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath and I usually rent out my spare rooms on Airbnb but they are requiring a very pricey permit now through the city and I don’t wanna pay it, haha. The bathroom will be private for the most part, but I do have a few people that will be staying in the smaller room a few days during July and a few days during October for ACL.

- newly renovated home
- no pets sadly, it’s my cat’s rule!
- the photos of the room are not up to date, I need to finish painting it and get new pics! but it does have the new flooring, no popcorn ceilings, and it’s a light purple
The House: located in a neighborhood off of South 1st and Stassney, large backyard, two car garage, washer & dryer, plenty of parking, less than 20 minutes to downtown as you don’t need to get on the highways, you just take S 1st straight up. It comes furnished with a queen sized bed, dresser, and small desk if you’d like it
About the roomies
I’m 36 and I work from home, I have a very flexible job so I tend to work around 11-6 and I sleep in like a teenager, haha. I love reading, paint by numbers, working out, cooking, exploring local restaurants, hanging out at the green belt, and of course I love a good lazy Netflix day 🙂 I feel like I’m a pretty chill roommate but I do have some pet peeves and I have one major rule for the house which is closing the doors quietly. If you can’t manage that, it really wouldn’t work out! I do like a tidy home but not too anal about it. I’d love someone who would share in on the chores :)
