I am looking for someone to takeover a bedroom in Mt Lookout. It is an extremely nice and safe street, and a lovely bedroom with lots of natural light, and a private back door only accessible to this unit. The unit is a 2bedroom 1 bathroom in a quadruplex. The apartment stays very cool in the summer, due to the window orientation. The street is quiet, pleasant, and walkable distance to Mt.Lookout square. There is a nice backyard, a driveway with covered carpark, and a small wooded area beyond the backyard. All the trees provide lots of wildlife in the area, so mornings are filled with birdsong and at night we hear the occasional barred owl call. The room has a spacious closet with hooks and shelving. It has wooden floors and a big window with a window AC unit in addition to a ceiling fan.

There is also a basement with coin laundry and the landlord is very nice and responsive! I love living in this area because it feels reasonably close to OTR/Downtown as well as close to many conveniences and attractions on the east side.

I’m a chill roommate, and I value communication and grace. I am clean and appreciate direct communication around the need for cleanliness and order in shared spaces.

I also work full-time, and as an introvert, I need alone time to recharge! I’m ideally looking for a similar roommate who can peacefully coexist and communicate while understanding home is my safe space.

As a person, I’m very open-minded, creative, and aesthetically driven. I am silly and I think in very nuanced and diverse ways.

I’m an artist, so I like to spend time in my studio space in the living room. I like music, so I have some decent speakers in the living room. I do enjoy running errands as a pair, or occasionally activities like walking, hiking, bonfires in the backyard. I like plants, animals, sustainability, and permaculture things.
