Private room (about 13 x 10) with high ceilings and unusually wide doors. Moving furniture in and out is genuinely easy. In a newer 3-bed/2-bath apartment in Poway, this room has its own full bathroom. The bath has a good shower (with a vent) and solid counters.
The unit has a big living room and a great kitchen! The in-unit laundry and HVAC systems are very good too.
The numbers: $1,804.89/month. Utilities split 3 ways, ~$44.32/month per person. Internet and other amenities cost $75/month total, so $25/person. Two parking spots are included with the unit, and a third would cost $65/month. My prior roommates and I split that cost three ways, so I’m open to doing that as well. Deposit: $700 for all 3 occupants, but in your case, likely $233.33. SDGE bills change month to month like the other utilities, but it’s been hovering around $55/person in my experience.

A bit about me, since I’ll be your roommate: I’m a 25-year-old software developer and startup co-founder/COO. I work in the area and keep a pretty normal weekday schedule. Outside work I train Krav Maga a few times a week, I’m social and see friends fairly often, and I game, read, and write. I’ve also got an awesome, friendly dog named Sachi. My two current roommates are moving out as you’d be moving in, so you’d be one of two people joining me.
I’m looking for tidy, respectful roommates who are easy to communicate with. Happy to talk through how we’d handle shared space, guests, and quiet hours so it’s a good fit both ways. I don’t smoke, drink, or do drugs. I’d prefer a roommate who doesn’t smoke or do drugs; after all, the complex doesn’t allow it.
