Single occupancy, furnished room with egress window, hardwood floors, and mini split for temperature control. The room has a large closet, full bed, night stand, dresser, and tv. It is located in the basement of the house, which has a separate entrance.
Large house (1,842 sq ft) with a huge, gorgeous backyard and tons of extra space. The house has four bedrooms with two upstairs and two downstairs that we rent out. Currently, a woman in her late 20s lives in the other basement bedroom. Most of the basement is used only by renters. The basement has a separate entrance, enormous bathroom, living room with a fireplace, and a work space. The basement also has a storage room with a second fridge that is shared by the household.
The upstairs has two bedrooms, one of which my husband and I occupy. The second is a guest bedroom anyone in the house can utilize as needed, otherwise my husband uses it as an office when he works from home. We have a living room upstairs for our sole use providing privacy for the downstairs renters. We also own two dogs (husky/pit mix and super mutt) and a cat (tonkinese). The upstairs kitchen, dining room, and laundry with washer and dryer are shared spaces for the entire household.
The property has a huge, fully fenced-in backyard (0.36 acres) with a fireplace, areas to relax and eat, a grill, and a garden. The garage is available to store bikes or other large items. There is on-street parking in a nice and friendly neighborhood.
The neighborhood has lots of kind, older residents who generally keep to themselves. The house is within a few minutes drive of several grocery stores (Winco, Albertsons, Target), retail shopping (Burlington, Old Navy, JCPenney), and restaurants (Spring Lotus, El Rinconsito, Applebees, Red Robin, Taco Bell). There are also several bus stops within walking distance as well as a park. Downtown, both Confluence hospitals, and CVCH are all within a 10 min drive.
My husband and I are outdoorsy people who enjoy mountain biking, hiking, working in the yard, and going on adventures with our dogs. We love the small town vibe of Wenatchee while still having a wide range of amenities. We’ve built a wonderful community of friends here.
