About the room
This old Durham mill building converted into apartments is spacious with large living room, kitchen, and dining room areas. It is also in a great location right on 9th street and is a 60 second walk from a Harris Teeter and 3 minute walk from East Campus.
The open bedroom has plenty of space for a queen sized bed, desk, and other small furniture items as well as plenty of closet space for storage. The rest of the apartment is already fully furnished at this point, but you’ll need to find your own bedroom furniture. Minhaj, our old roommate is selling his if you’re interested.
Utilities every month includes power, internet, and laundry (water is covered), and ends up being $90-$100 a person. Rent is $775/month per person.

About the roomies
Khang and I (CJ) are a couple of male biomedical engineering PhD students at Duke. We both have a pretty big friend circle and enjoy hosting people over about once a week or so. Neither of us smoke or have any pets. We keep it pretty chill around here, as both of us are busy with our studies, but we enjoy going out, playing board/video games, and hitting up the gym whenever we can. Excited to meet you!
