Sign month-to-month house sharing agreement. No rental agreement. Located on quiet, wooded ½ acre in North Hudson, WI – Hudson is 15 miles from St. Paul MN. [A car is a must as there are no city buses.] While not a big city, Hudson has many big city amenities from Home Depot to Target, a synagogue, many churches, and a new movie theater. Plus, many restaurants that provide you with a rich variety of authentic ethnic and American meals. On a bluff – houses across the street sit on the edge of the bluff overlooking the St. Croix River. You can walk through the woods to the river or drive to one of 3 beaches. Area also has Willow River State park with beautiful waterfalls. Home has 3 shared bathrooms, deck, large parking area, security system, Wi-fi, dishwasher, 2 clothes washers, large dining room for entertaining guests and small breakfast table for 4. Dogs welcome if approved by Buddy the resident dog (see pic. On pic he lined up all his “puppies” on the floor before going to bed himself.) He will also share his small outdoor backyard. There’s little traffic so it’s a beautiful quiet area for walking self, dog or biking. There are two cats but you may not bring a cat – only because cats are seldom welcoming to new cats. Cats are outside whenever the weather permits and bed in the basement at night. There’s a 2-car garage with is available for rent also but you may store bikes and other small outdoor equipment in it for free. There’s a large outdoor grill on the deck. Like the arts – you’ll love Hudson. The great Phipps Arts Center has great plays, musicals, art gallery and art classes in many genres. Plus, the stores downtown sell wonderful artworks and there are antique shops. The small towns close by also have wonder art offerings and activities. First week in February, we also host an Annual Hot Air Balloon Affair! Join us, while we enjoy our “Golden Years.”
