About the room

Roommate wanted! Looking for a single occupant who would like to take the upstairs two front bedrooms in my house. Windows are south-facing and get a ton of light! Would be great for someone looking for a bedroom and office/studio situation. You can even paint the rooms if you want, change light fixtures, etc. Private bathroom next to bedrooms and shared half bath on ground floor. Driveway parking space and garage storage/workout area. Located near the QFC in Maple Valley and close to hwy 18 and 169. 20 mins to Renton, 40 mins to Seattle. Landlord is very chill and while I’m currently on a month-month lease, I’ve lived here for 3+ years now.

Price: Rent = $1400/mo

Bills (your expected portion)= •internet $50/mo •water/sewer (they switch every other month) around either $80 for sewer months or $40 for water months •garbage around $40 (quarterly) •PSE around $150 for higher consumption months (heat of summer/peak winter), around $80 for off-season months

The perks: The neighborhood is very safe and people are friendly. Within a 5-10 minute ((safe)) walk to Wilderness Village QFC, TAC gym, restaurants, etc. Maple Valley library, Lake Wilderness park, and Cedar River Trail!

I enjoy gardening and have made a little oasis in the backyard complete with lounge furniture, string lights, and fire pit. Also have created a workout space in the garage (treadmill, tv, some weights, bench, yoga mat, mirror, etc) which I don’t use a ton since I have a gym membership now but you’re welcome to use any of the equipment!

Looking for someone who is: • respectful of the shared spaces (read: clean and willing to help keep it that way!) •pays on time (rent by the 5th, bills by the 20th) •is ok with a small dog (her name is Sofia and she’s v chill and a great couch buddy) •preferably has a routine for self-care! (exercise, therapy, etc.)

About me: I’m a 30-something, WFH nerd in her sporty-spice era. Currently enjoying learning to play hockey, occasionally on a rec league volleyball team, and teach ice skating lessons on weekends.
