It’s tough out there… We should team up. I am looking for a roomshare. The rent is cheap, the neighborhood is great, access to bus stops, and an awesome corner store. It’s a safe neighborhood with trees all around and it’s quiet. But here is the hitch… I live with disabilities and I need extra help around the house. We can negotiate what I need help with and what you’re willing to do. While the room is bare, the rest of the house is pretty much furnished, down to the dishes and fancy pants coffee maker. If you have a lot of stuff this probably isn’t the place for you. I pay for electric (up to $115., you pay a difference after that.), Wi-Fi, water, and the majority of the rent. You will have to sign a lease and go through a background check, but I will be at the in-house Landlord. There are also some extra bonuses: -a record player (what???) -you can read my subscription to the New Yorker anytime you want. -pretty much fully stocked kitchen for baking and cooking.

I am happy to share what I’ve got. Art supplies, food, stuff, etc.… As long as you don’t take the last… Whatever. (and please don’t break my shit) While I am by nature an introvert, I would love to play a good game of cards, backgammon, or sit on the couch and binge a show. But I also know how to to give someone space when needed. If you have a cat, they are more than welcome! If you are into theater, the arts, backstage work, this was my profession for about 35 years. Let’s make some art! I have a wicked/weird sense of humor… Too many years of improving with actors! I am an early GenXer, originally from the East Coast, old-school punk rocker so I have my rough edges, but that mostly comes out in my sense of humor and taste in music and movies. There are a lot of kitchen appliances, and I would love to start cooking again if I can. And cooking for two is cheaper … Would love to share with you! It may take me some time to get your room ready, just based on the realities of my life. The biggest thing is that I will need grace for my limitations. And I will need your help. If you are a person who is a little bit handy, and into giving me help around the house, you are the person I am looking for. MAGA, racist, misogynist, fascist on the left or right, someone who wants to convert me, alcoholics, illegal drug users need not apply. I am pro No Kings, and a Democratic socialist, please keep it in mind…but I also don’t mind a good debate. Open honest communication about what’s going on in our place is an absolute must.
