About the room
Title: Fully Furnished, All-Inclusive Room in Brandon
Rent: $1,000/mo (All Utilities Included)
Terms: Month-to-Month (Long-term preferred)
Location: Brandon, FL
The Room: Move-in ready! The bedroom is fully furnished with a Full-size bed, dresser with mirror, table with computer chair, garbage can, hamper, and TV. You only need to bring your own bedding and towels.
The Home & Vibe: This is a relaxed, “lived-in” home shared with a friendly homeowner and a small zoo! I have 4 dogs and 2 cats, so you must be a genuine animal lover. I’m not looking for perfection—the house feels lived-in and comfortable—but I do ask for a “clean-as-you-go” approach to the shared bathroom and kitchen.

Common Areas: Shared use of the kitchen (dedicated cupboard provided), sunroom, and backyard.
Gym: Full access to the on-site exercise room.
Laundry: Shared use of the laundry area.
Bathroom: Shared bathroom with a dedicated shelf for your toiletries.
The Fine Print: * No Additional Pets: We are at capacity with my 6 furry friends.
Private Areas: Garage and shed are off-limits, except for the use of the washer and dryer.
Pest Control: I spray for pests every 2-3 months; I will need access to the room for this (advance notice always given).
Yardwork: Helping with gardening or yardwork is always welcomed but never required!
Requirements: A criminal background check is required. The applicant is responsible for the background check fee (approx. $35).
About the roomies
I’m 49 years old woman, and I work from home for a University. I have a 3 BR/3 BA/2 car garage on a third acre. I live on a corner in the heart of Brandon near pretty much everything. I’ve started my own junk removal business recently with my family. I’m hoping to quit my University job soon. I have one adult son still living at home. He works and is super chill. We are a pretty quiet household for the most part, despite having a bunch of pets. I’ve rented out a room in my house for over a decade to different people. We’ve all gotten along pretty well. We don’t drink or do drugs. I’m pretty flexible for the most part and try to accommodate and compromise whenever possible. I believe communication is key to being successful. I’m hoping for a long-term roommate. I keep the lease as month-to-month, so there’s no confusion between us on the living arrangements, as well as leaving an out for both parties, if needed.
