You get used to the quiet here, and then you start to rely on it. The room handles itself private bathroom, independent from the rest of the house, no crossed paths unless you initiate them. The neighborhood is genuinely settled; not sleepy, just calm in the way that only comes from years of good residents. Shopping and transport sit close enough to use without thinking twice. Comfortable living, minus the usual trade-offs.

Good housemates are hard to find we know that, which is why we’re being thoughtful about it. The two of us, an aerospace engineer and a senior dietitian, each occupy our own room and have settled into a household dynamic that feels genuinely easy. Days are busy, evenings are quiet, and the home stays clean without anyone having to chase it. We’d love someone who values that same unspoken standard and just naturally upholds it.
