I have recently been enlisted by the AmeriCorps in partnership with the Sierra Nevada Alliance to work for the Sierra State Parks Foundation in Tahoe City. I will be working on local conservation issues, environmental stewardship education, and community outreach for a duration of 5 months.

I am looking to rent a room for my 5 month term of service and potentially month-to-month after that. Additionally, I am seeking an decently priced room for the modest Americorps living stipend that I will be receiving.

When not working throughout the week, I will be camping, hiking, rock climbing, and spending time with other outdoor enthusiasts!

As much as I will be working in the field and perusing outdoor activities, I am looking to rent a room in an environment that is mature, well kept, friendly, and relatively peaceful during my downtime. I definitely value sharing a space with an individual, or individuals, that are social, communicative, considerate, easy going, and respectful.
