About me:

Well to start, I’m a 34 year old super fly white guy, born and raised in California (don’t judge me on this). Been in Tennessee for about 5 years. Straight male (not that this should matter, but just throwing it out there). I don’t discriminate, but prefer to live with another straight male or a woman. Preferably someone within 10 years of my age. I’m not looking to date anyone or anything weird.

I’m a very low stress, laid back person where one of my goals in life is to remain as peacefully minded, calm, and happy as much as possible.. Not to sound like a hippie or anything :P

I’m an Army Veteran who separated 8 years ago. Since then I have worked in the Security industry to include armed Federal Security, (for Dept of Homeland Security at a Federal Courthouse), security management for a giant Facebook Data Center, and currently work in executive protection for wealthy/famous people, guarding their homes, looking after them on their town ventures, or guarding them on their concert tours. It’s for a small company that only hires combat vets.. Its pretty cool. 😏

I plan on starting schooling online with the GI bill here in the coming months. I stick to myself a lot, but at the same time, I’m more than happy to be social if that’s who you come off as, but I can also make it seem like I don’t exist in the home. I’m happy with either one. I prefer a situation where we can end up as friends at some point. Obviously its nice to have someone around that you like having around and not just someone who you HAVE to have around just to help pay bills.

I enjoy sarcasm and humor. I’ve got thick skin and don’t get upset over stupid stuff. I believe I get along with all people well. Even with others where I don’t, I still try to be respectful.

I have a very lengthy history in roommating with others (particularly in the Military, heh) and as such, I’ve become very accustomed to leaving zero trace of my existence(such as keeping clean), minus maybe food I might have in the fridge/pantry. I try to stay clean and leave things how I left it. If I notice a floor getting dirty, I sweep it. If I see a trash getting full, I’ll take it out. I like things to be simple. I kinda expect the same from anyone I live with. No need to be weird and schedule things.. It’s pretty easy to just clean something if you see it dirty lol.

For trash, I understand it storms or sometimes we’re in a hurry to head out the door and couldn’t take the trash out at that moment.. I’m not one to get weird if i see a one off day of a full trash or something left out or in the sink. Things happen. I personally clean after myself. Piling trash all the time, always leaving around dirty dishes, etc, are traits I prefer to avoid with people.

I’m a quiet guy and practice great noise discipline when in my room or when people are sleeping. I don’t blare music and make my presence a nuisance. Common, basic courtesy/respect stuff.

I don’t touch other peoples food and respect other peoples property, so I’d kinda expect the same in return. I don’t mind sharing condiments or food if I happen to make extra. I’ve shared food many times with previous roommates. If we get along well, I’ll probably intentionally make extra food for you if you want it.

I know some people roommate just because they want to live with a friend-type roommate. These are the best situations. I’m into PC/Video games, I’m a big foodie, former military(as i stated before), I like traveling around, I like sushi/seafood, and I’m a tech nerd, so bonus points if you’re any of those I guess.. Or at least chill and easy to get along with. I also enjoy walking/hiking and sight seeing.

As far as politics, I don’t care what you believe in as long as it isn’t anything extreme one way or another. If you’re into satanic cults or scream during witchcraft spells, I might reconsider things. Also not picky on religion. Its none of my business really. I respect everyone’s beliefs as long as it doesnt affect me lol.

Also, I won’t ever bring anyone over, so no worries there. Like I said I’m not from TN and dont really know anyone.
