I’m open to finding a private unit or living with a housemate if it seems like we’d be a great match. And I’m writing this essay of a description in hopes that it fully resonates with someone. Because ultimately, I want to be comfortable (you as well of course) in the place I call home.

Work full-time, hybrid position allows WFH 2-3 days/wk.

I have a friendly and energetic labrador/aussie mix (40lb). Preference for yard space for the pup to play.

Specifically interested in Belmont Shore, Belmont Heights, East Village, and maybe Bixby Knolls?

Who I am:

I enjoy spending time with friends and family, many of whom are based in OC, so i’ll travel down there quite frequently. But I’d like to make a small group of like-minded friends around Long Beach to do activities and hang out with. I’ve been living in AZ the last several years and have flexibility on timing, which is extremely helpful for moving with greater intention.

I have various hobbies that cycle depending on what i’m most interested at the moment: bachata/salsa, fitness, video games, board games, tennis/soccer/golf/beach volley, grilling, philosophy, personal growth, etc. My default mode is playful and sarcastic. So naturally, I enjoy witty banter and meaningless improv.

I value autonomy, authenticity, clear communication, balance, stability, and trust in a a home environment.

I feel it goes without saying that, we keep the common areas clean and are considerate of each other’s space.

On a final note:

I want to add a piece on politics, as I understand it can be a sensitive subject. I consider myself fairly moderate, and prefer living with an individual that has a relatively similar outlook(left or right, it doesn’t matter). I am happy to talk about most anything, as long as mutual respect is present. “Treat people how you want to be treated” is my golden philosophy.
