It’s all about the golden rule and ASKING if what you are doing is too excessive a foible for the roomie(s). Then do not go to the mat in a power trip for dominance because you have the right to do what you want for your rent. Do not be anal retentive, it is not an attractive trait regardless of your perceived perfectionism. Be accomodating and wear ear buds to satisfy your auditory needs. It’s called quiet enjoyment which includes the impact your guests have on your roomies. Oh, and don’t forget your dishes or sense of humor. Would I be a good roommate? Just asking. lol
