Hi there, I’m Mark.

I’ve been in Palm Springs for about two and a half years now—originally coming as a winter escape from Seattle, but it quickly became home. The mountains and natural beauty here are the main draw to the valley for me. I ride the aerial tramway most weeks, hike often, and love swimming, pickleball, and have found community through these activities as well as local meditation group.

I’m 38, single (gay), and self-employed in creative marketing and entrepreneurship. Working remotely has given me the freedom to live and travel in some incredible places—San Diego, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Lake Tahoe, and Seattle among them—and I continue to travel often, both domestically and internationally.

Home, for me, is a sanctuary: a place to ground, relax, and recharge between adventures. I’m friendly and social but also value quiet and privacy. I’m clean, tidy, and considerate. I drink infrequently (only socially), don’t smoke, and often leave spaces better/ cleaner than I find them.

My current landlord is preparing to sell his home, so I’m starting the search for a new place. I have excellent credit, no debt, and can provide strong references from past landlords and roommates. If working from home is ever a concern, I’m happy to use a nearby co-working space.
