I’m an active-duty Marine finishing doing one last duty station before retiring. I have a house in Goodyear, AZ but got orders to Yuma so I don’t want to make that commute daily. By the time I leave my current duty station in New Orleans in 2027, I’ll have lived away from my home in Goodyear for six years. During that time period I have rented rooms and have been very fortunate to have great landlords. That said, I have excellent references and anyone I’ve rented from would take me back in a heartbeat. I always pay rent in advance, I’m clean, I’m quiet–basically everything you’d want in a tenant. I’ll also be traveling home every weekend/holiday
