Ona

Hello. My name is Ona (OH-nah). I am a vegan, mostly sober, atheist, transgender lesbian, electronic music artist, and songwriter whose life’s foundation is Factuality and Empathy. My main attributes are kindness, sincerity, authenticity, empathy, and creativity.

I would be in my rented space nearly 24/7, depending on if I find community and a social life. Most days I would be focusing on making music, recording, writing, reading, cooking or preparing food or smoothies, and quietly, peacefully relaxing with my cat Tori.

I’ve been through a lot since 2019, and desire to settle down in the PNW for possibly the remainder of my days, the last 1/4 or less of my life’s journey. I have no plans to have people over, nor am I seeking any partners.

While I will want to attend karaoke nights, goth nights, and/or darkwave or synthpop events, and hopefully performing live in Bellingham and Seattle, it really would be just me, my cat, and my home studio in my rented space most of the time for as long as I can foresee.

I am wanting to settle in and find a longterm home in the Pacific Northwest, and the closer the Canadian border the better.

As of September 2024, I am on SSDI for the remainder of my days. It’s enough to cover $600/month rent, groceries, utilities, and other weekly or monthly necessities in Washington. I also hope to find part-time work locally to have a bit of financial breathing space.

I am locked in financially and by my lease here in Cleveland, Ohio through March 2027. Financial limitations are the only thing keeping me here. The only person in my life that I have strong ties with is my 30 y/o daughter, who lives in Fort Wayne, IN. I would miss seeing her a few times a year, but I need to move on, and leave the Red State region ASAP. I’ve wanted to move to Portland, Seattle, or Bellingham since 2020.
