My close friend Jackie and I are looking to team up with one queer creative to hunt for a 3-bedroom house in South Austin for a November 1st move-in. We are looking in the $3,000/mo range. Because I am the primary earner, I’ll be taking the primary suite and paying the lion’s share of the rent ($1,500 - $1,600). Your budget would only need to be around $850 - $950/month plus split utilities for a standard bedroom!

About Us: I’m Zuri (early 30s). I work in tech but my real passion is indie filmmaking. I’m a bit of a nerd—I love playing video games, and geeking out over gear.

Jackie is my wonderful, easy-going friend. She is a massive fan of all things pastel and Pokémon, and spends a lot of her free time gaming and streaming.

We are very LGBTQ+ friendly, communicative, laid back, and 4/20 friendly (outside only/respectful!). Oh, and I (Zuri) also come with two sweet orange American Bobtail cats, Thor and Loki!

Our Vibe: We want a home that feels like a safe, creative sanctuary. I am super clean and keep common spaces tidy and quiet. We do travel/shoot occasionally, but when we are home, we love a cozy movie night or hanging out in the backyard.
