Artist and business owner for the last 11 years, looking for a roommate situation. I run my studio from home, so I need at least two rooms, ideally a well insulated or temp controlled shop/garage setup.

I’m usually pretty clean and friendly. I do go into creative mode in the final stretch of a project, but I always “close shift” at the end of the day, picking up my piles and putting all my tools away. I value cohabitation and community with healthy boundaries and good communication, and I care about taking care of everyone in my space.

My dog is 3, sweet and well behaved, though he gets excited when you first come home or when new people visit. I’d prefer he be the only dog in the house, but he respects cats and leaves them be. I take him with me most places, so you won’t have to deal with him being home alone very often, if at all. A yard is a must for both of us. I really value taking breaks outside and drinking my morning coffee on the porch.

Budget wise, I’d love to be under $1,000 or close to it so I can keep saving toward a down payment, though I know a 2 bedroom is a bigger ask. I don’t mind living with any gender, as long as they’re cleanish, respectful, and easy to talk to. My ideal match would be another artist or someone with a similar work schedule. I typically work 10am to 4pm, sometimes till 6. My work has a low hum of noise if the door’s closed, but I’m not loudly working all day.
