I’m a mother who is recently separated with a daughter who is ten. We do have two 7 year old cats and a 14 week old cat. They are all trained fixed and vetted and very shy typically so not much of a bother honestly. They tend to stay in my living area. I do have another daughter whom is temporarily staying with an extended family member and sleeps over every so often due to my current living situation (motel). I’m very scared to end up homeless because economically I cannot afford to pay what I’m paying a month as a single parent with no outside help. I don’t want to have to get rid of my cats because they are companion animals and we’ve had them since they were babies when I rescued them from the shelter. I am praying someone will be willing to accept us so that I can give my daughter a consistent place that’s more than just one room with nowhere she can play outside. I have reliable childcare when needed and she’s a very sweet and loving kid who truly keeps to herself. My teenager is also pretty easy to coexist with and as she’s a teen she only wants to stay maybe once a week with me until I can save for my own place or hopefully around taxes if it’s feasible. I would love to have both daughters with me full time but I understand that it’s not that easy and that would be asking a lot.
